Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use ClassicRevs. By accessing or using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you are 18 years of age or older and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. If you are using the Platform on behalf of a business or other legal entity, you further represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

2. User Accounts

To list a vehicle or access certain features, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep that information updated. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify ClassicRevs immediately at support@classicrevs.com of any unauthorised use of your account. ClassicRevs will not be liable for any loss arising from your failure to comply with this obligation.

3. Seller Responsibilities

As a seller, you agree to:

• Provide complete and accurate descriptions of each vehicle, including its history, condition, mileage, and any known defects
• Only list vehicles that you own outright or have legal authority to sell
• Respond promptly and honestly to enquiries from prospective buyers
• Remove or update listings immediately once a vehicle is sold or is no longer available
• Honour agreed sale prices and not engage in bait-and-switch tactics
• Comply with all applicable consumer protection, trade descriptions, and motor vehicle legislation
• Declare all material information relevant to the vehicle's value or roadworthiness

ClassicRevs reserves the right to remove any listing that we reasonably believe does not comply with these obligations, without prior notice and without refund of listing fees.

4. Buyer Responsibilities

Buyers acknowledge that ClassicRevs is a marketplace and not a dealer or agent. You are solely responsible for:

• Conducting your own due diligence on any vehicle before purchase, including independent inspection, provenance checks (HPI or equivalent), and legal ownership verification
• Arranging appropriate finance, insurance, and transport
• Ensuring the vehicle is legal for use on public roads in your jurisdiction
• Complying with all applicable laws relating to the purchase and registration of vehicles

5. Vehicle Listings & Accuracy

All listings must be accurate, honest, and not misleading. Photographs must be current and representative of the vehicle's actual condition. You must not:

• Use stock images or photographs of a different vehicle
• Misrepresent the vehicle's mileage, service history, accident history, or ownership record
• List a vehicle as sold pending finance or subject to outstanding finance without clearly disclosing this
• Include false or exaggerated claims about the vehicle's rarity, provenance, or value

ClassicRevs may at its discretion use AI-assisted tools to help generate listing descriptions. You remain responsible for reviewing and verifying the accuracy of any AI-generated content before publishing.

6. Fees & Payments

ClassicRevs charges listing fees and optional paid upgrades (collectively "Fees"). All Fees are displayed clearly before purchase and are payable in pounds sterling (GBP) unless otherwise stated. Fees are processed securely by Stripe. By submitting payment, you authorise ClassicRevs to charge the applicable Fee to your selected payment method.

Fees are generally non-refundable. Refunds may be granted at ClassicRevs's sole discretion in exceptional circumstances, such as a technical error that prevented your listing from being published. To request a refund, contact support@classicrevs.com within 14 days of payment.

ClassicRevs reserves the right to change its Fee schedule at any time. Changes will be communicated with reasonable notice and will not affect Fees already paid.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Post false, fraudulent, or deliberately misleading listings or information
• Impersonate any person, business, or entity
• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose, including money laundering, fraud, or handling stolen vehicles
• Harass, threaten, abuse, or discriminate against other users
• Attempt to circumvent Platform fees or payment systems
• Scrape, copy, republish, or redistribute Platform content without written permission
• Introduce malware, viruses, or other harmful code to the Platform
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access, index, or interact with the Platform without prior written consent
• Conduct transactions off-platform to circumvent our systems or fees

Violation of this section may result in immediate account suspension or termination and may be referred to law enforcement authorities.

8. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of photographs and content you upload to the Platform. By submitting content, you grant ClassicRevs a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to use, display, reproduce, modify, and share your content to operate and promote the Platform. This includes use in marketing materials, social media, press, and promotional campaigns. This licence continues after a listing is removed, though we will make reasonable efforts to remove content upon request.

All other content on the Platform — including the ClassicRevs brand, logo, design, software, and editorial content — is the exclusive property of ClassicRevs or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trade mark, and other intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use ClassicRevs's intellectual property without prior written consent.

9. Images, Video & Uploaded Content

This section sets out the terms that apply to all photographs, videos, and other media or written content ("Uploaded Content") that you submit when creating or editing a listing.

• X.1 Ownership. You retain all copyright and other intellectual property rights in your Uploaded Content. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of your content to ClassicRevs.
• X.2 Licence to ClassicRevs. By submitting Uploaded Content, you grant ClassicRevs a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, sublicensable, perpetual licence to use, host, store, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, publicly display, and create derivative works from that content, in any media or format now known or hereafter developed, for the purposes of operating, improving, and promoting the Platform.
• X.3 Sub-licensing. ClassicRevs may sub-licence your Uploaded Content to third-party partners, press, social-media platforms, and advertising networks solely in connection with promoting the Platform or your listing. We will not sell your content independently of the Platform.
• X.4 Editing rights. ClassicRevs may crop, resize, reformat, watermark, or otherwise adapt Uploaded Content for technical or presentational purposes. We will not materially alter the substantive meaning of any written content.
• X.5 Attribution. ClassicRevs is not obliged to credit you as the author of Uploaded Content when it is used for Platform promotion, though we may do so at our discretion.
• X.6 Moral-rights waiver. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you waive any moral rights (including the right of integrity and the right of paternity) in your Uploaded Content in favour of ClassicRevs and any party authorised by ClassicRevs.
• X.7 Seller warranties. You represent and warrant that: (a) you own or have obtained all necessary rights and permissions to submit the Uploaded Content; (b) the Uploaded Content does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or other rights; (c) you have the consent of any identifiable person appearing in the content; and (d) the content complies with all applicable laws.
• X.8 Indemnity. You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ClassicRevs and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from any breach of the warranties in X.7 or from any third-party claim relating to your Uploaded Content.
• X.9 Content removal. ClassicRevs reserves the right to remove or disable access to any Uploaded Content at any time, without notice, if we reasonably believe it violates these Terms, infringes third-party rights, or is otherwise objectionable. You may request removal of your content by contacting support@classicrevs.com; we will make reasonable efforts to comply, subject to legal or operational constraints.
• X.10 Licence survival. The licence granted in X.2 survives the expiry, removal, or deletion of your listing or account to the extent that ClassicRevs has already distributed or published the content and cannot practically retrieve it (for example, where content has been shared by third parties or cached by search engines). In all other cases we will endeavour to cease active use of your content within a reasonable time following a valid removal request.

10. Marketplace Disclaimer

ClassicRevs is a marketplace platform that connects buyers and sellers of classic and prestige vehicles. We do not own, inspect, authenticate, or take possession of any vehicle listed on the Platform. We are not a party to any transaction between buyers and sellers.

ClassicRevs does not warrant or guarantee:

• The accuracy, completeness, or truthfulness of any listing
• The condition, roadworthiness, legal ownership, or history of any vehicle
• The identity, credibility, or reliability of any user
• That any transaction will be completed successfully

Seller Verification is an optional service offered by ClassicRevs to help establish a level of trust. Verification does not constitute a guarantee or endorsement of any listing or seller.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ClassicRevs and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss or damages
• Loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or anticipated savings
• Losses arising from disputes between buyers and sellers
• Losses caused by your reliance on any listing, user, or third-party content
• Any interruption, suspension, or termination of the Platform

Where liability cannot be excluded by law, our aggregate liability to you shall not exceed the total Fees paid by you to ClassicRevs in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

12. Account Suspension & Termination

ClassicRevs may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to access the Platform ceases immediately. We reserve the right to retain records as required by law or for legitimate business purposes. You may close your account at any time by contacting support@classicrevs.com.

13. Disputes

ClassicRevs encourages buyers and sellers to resolve disputes directly and in good faith. We may, at our discretion, provide limited assistance in facilitating communication between parties, but we are not obligated to mediate, arbitrate, or resolve disputes. ClassicRevs shall not be liable for any losses arising from disputes between users.

14. Privacy & Data Usage

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Platform, you consent to our collection and use of your personal data as described in the Privacy Policy.

15. Amendments

ClassicRevs reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes by posting a notice on the Platform or sending an email to your registered address. Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date of any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Platform.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction provide otherwise.
